Vida strengthens sales team with three new appointments

Vida, the lending specialist, has announced a number of key appointments to its senior team as it continues to develop its proposition and deliver a first-class intermediary experience.

Helen Cawthra has been appointed as Corporate Sales Manager, Andy Alvarez has been appointed as National Sales Manager and Scott Phillips as Specialist Distribution Manager, all three appointees will report into Head of Intermediary Distribution John Truswell.

Helen has worked in financial services for 17 years in a range of branch and intermediary facing roles.

Most recently she worked in corporate sales for both Leeds Building Society and Accord Mortgages, managing a range of major mortgage clubs and networks.

She also has experience in mortgage broking, running her own business for two years.

Andy has worked in financial services for 22 years in both intermediary lending and retail banking.

Throughout his career he has held a wide range of roles across operations and sales, with the past 15 years spent in senior strategic leadership roles.

He has led large scale national teams as well as leading on the implementation of diversity and inclusion strategies.

Scott has over 20 years financial services experience, most recently as National Account Manager at Hampshire Trust Bank, and prior to this at One Savings Bank.

He has worked with a range of different clubs, networks, and packagers during his time with both banks.
