Bluestone Mortgages appoints Reece Beddall as Head of Sales & Marketing

Bluestone Mortgages is pleased to announce the appointment of Reece Beddall as Head of Sales & Marketing.

Since joining the business in July 2016, Reece has held various roles in Bluestone’s Business Development Management (BDM) team.

He brings over 10 years’ financial services experience to his new role, having worked at Metro Bank and Bank of Queensland prior to joining Bluestone.

In his most recent role as Head of Business Development, Reece was instrumental in the growth and development of Bluestone’s BDM teams in both London and Sheffield, further solidifying the lender as a broker champion.

Reece also supported the wider sales team with product developments and the strengthening of Bluestone’s intermediary partnerships.

As Head of Sales & Marketing, Reece will be responsible for leading Bluestone’s sales and distribution strategy across the UK and further solidifying relationships with the lender’s key intermediary partners.

Reece’s experience will be invaluable in developing Bluestone’s relationships across the intermediary sector as the business looks to further extend its distribution to help underserved customers – numbers of which are expected to grow following the Covid-19 crisis.

Reece’s appointment comes at an exciting point in Bluestone’s growth, with the lender recently announcing that application volumes in September 2020 were over two-thirds (68%) higher than in the same month last year – marking an all-time record month for the lender.
